He told me Thursday night that I was only to work until noon on Friday, and that my bosses already knew about it.... Ok. This began my curiosity. He made me pack a bag, but gave me little advice of what to pack. More curiosity...and my impatience begins.
Friday, I worked till noon as directed, then headed home, and we packed the car and left. We started heading south, so I knew immediately that cute little cabin in the woods that I had "email suggested" to him a week ago was NOT where we were headed...I always like to guess my surprises, even though I know that takes the surprise right out of it. I just CANNOT help but want to be prepared. I hate not being in the know. So the whole drive I kept guessing. Blue River! Nope...past that exit. Crater Lake! Uh uh. Keep guessing. Disneyland?? You think we'd drive that far?!...I was out of guesses. I was going C-R-A-Z-Y and I'm sure driving Skyler crazy too.
Finally we arrived. Welcome to the Out N' About Treehouse Treesort!! Yep. No kidding. Swiss Family Robinson meets Never Never Land. 12 or so tree houses were built 35+ feet in the air, connected by swinging bridges and community landings. So crazy cool. Not much to do on the land, but man the treehouses were AMAZING and we had an awesome time of "forced relaxation" as we like to call it. Movies on the lap top, brainstorming ideas for our own treehouse resort, charades, and some serious snuggle time. :) Thanks babe for a wonderful weekend get-a-way.
