Cute huh? I LOVE blues and greens and little birdies, so it was perfect for me. Shannon and Jeremy live in Texas now but they came back last weekend for a short visit and a friends wedding. I decided to make Shannon a little gift (since I know she adores Anthro also), so I thought I'd try to whip up a couple of my own tea towels. I was pretty pleased for rushing through it (I don't think I can do anything slow the first time...I'm just too excited to get through it and see how it turns out! Bad habit...haha). Anyway, a little fabric, a little trim, an applique and some stitching later and voila!

I know, not nearly as fancy as the Anthro ones...But it's a decent stab at it, right?! ;)
We enjoyed having Shannon and Jeremy here, even though it was much too short a visit. :( We spent Father's Day at the (COLD) Oregon Coast (with rain), but we had a great time! OOH and we even saw the mom from Little People, Big World!! She was just strolling with her daughter and having lunch along the Newport Bay (NOT in Mo's like we were however.). Here they are! See the one in the middle, flopped on top of the other two? Yeah, he just jumped right up on them from the water, weaseled his way between them, and to the other side of the dock and jumped back in the water. I'm thinking a brother Sea Lion breaking up his sister and boyfriend??
